Really Clean the House

How to Really Clean the House? The Bible Reveals

While going through the news feed of my Facebook account, I have seen a photo showing a race between men and women. In the photo, the race track for men has no obstructions but the race track for women has obstacles in form of cabinets, washing machines, dish racks, and other household materials that represent the household chores. You can navigate to floorcleaningtools for more information about it.

In today’s modern family, it will be a struggle for a living if it’s the patriarchy that will only work for the family. Aside from household chores, women also need to focus on their jobs and careers to support the family and to have self-actualization.

As the culture and tradition of this world changes, we can find our guide in the book of proverbs.

In Proverbs 31, we might say that the woman is too ideal and the tasks are very tiring. It involves waking up before the sun rises to prepare the needs of the family and the servants. Planning for the future and investment is also the woman’s task as she chooses good lands for agriculture. She can prepare all the needs of her family and doesn’t seem to be stress with all the tasks.

She does not only manage the material things but also the values inside the family. She is filled with wisdom as the light of the family. Her actions contribute to how the community respects her husband. Her good parenting is shown as her children commend her hard work.

She maximizes her time as she accomplishes all of the said tasks.

Those tasks are difficult but here are some ways to cope in everyday basis:

          Have your morning devotion. Christ strengthens us. Pray in the morning and thank God for all the blessings that we received. Ask for forgiveness from all the mistakes we commit. It is not just the house that needs cleaning but also our minds and hearts. Pray for guidance for the family.

          Listen to good music. You may play songs that you like as you move and clean the house. Music, after all, affects our movements sometimes. If you are in a hurry to finish a task, play an upbeat song. It can help.

          Checklist. Make a list of all the tasks that you need to do. Having a checklist will help you be on track of your tasks.

          Seek help. You’re not alone in the house. You can also ask for help from your family members since everyone is in the house. Through cleaning their own mess, your tasks will be reduced. You may also assign tasks that they can easily do. Family members should help one another. This is also a way of developing a sense of responsibility for the children.

There are plenty of books about how to do different tasks. Recipe books for food preparation, financial literacy books for finances, stress management, anger management, love pieces of advice and other books are available in bookstores but there is one book that contains all that we need. That is the Word of God, the Bible.
