At the Dominican Episcopal Foundation, we believe in the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ who was saved the world with his life, death, and resurrection.
As among the largest groups of Christians throughout the world, we embark on a mission of exemplifying the love of God for every human being. We firmly believe that God loves all people, without any exceptions.
Like St. Dominic, we firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the truth who has set us free, and the way by which all of us can receive the blessing of eternal life from God. It was St. Dominic’s mercy that founded the Order centuries ago in order to spread the saving truth of the Gospel and make it even better.
Apart from our beliefs, we or the Order of Preachers follow Christ through five major elements constituted in the Book of Constitutions and Ordinations of the Brothers of the Order of Preachers.
These elements include the celebration of liturgy and prayer, assiduous study of truth, common life, observance of vows, and apostolic ministry of the Word. Each element is essential, and all five should be observed to reveal the vibrancy of Dominican life.
